About the RE-CITY blog

This blog features insights on the issues facing shrinking cities, and aims to share perspectives on robust and sustainably sound development for shrinkage.

It is related to the RE-CITY project , an interdisciplinary, international consortium on shrinking cities consisting of scholars and practitioners from sixteen universities and companies in ten countries (France, Germany, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, and United States of America).

Our blog posts include research and event updates from the network’s senior academics and doctoral students, as well as guest blogs and “behind the scenes” content on what it’s like to be a PhD student in an international research network.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 813803
